Shannon Walsh

Shannon is currently writing a doctoral thesis on the concept of ‘innovation’ that looks into the broader relationship between novelty and capitalism.

In addition to sitting on ESRA’s research and steering committees Shannon is currently co-editing an ESRA publication series on new forms of political organisation. He is also working with other ESRA researchers on a project investigating the state of education and education policy in Aotearoa/New Zealand. Previously he has played roles organising radical left conferences and has helped to develop a special issue for New Zealand Sociology on the return of radical left politics to Aotearoa/New Zealand.
